Our Team

Gary started in the financial services industry in 1984. He worked with a financial planning firm that was focused on defining the differences between stock brokers, insurance salesmen and financial planners. The analytical nature of financial planning appealed to his sense of order and organization. Initially preparing financial planning worksheets using Lotus 123 Gary honed his skills. He became adept at guiding clients in setting aside the appropriate funds to pursue work toward their long-term goals. Gary took the skills that he had developed and began providing two Central Washington credit unions with financial planning and investment services in 1987. He became Financial Network Investment Corporation's branch manager at the Boeing Employees Credit Union from January of 1992 through June of 2002. During this time, he became proficient at helping clients move from the savings mode to one of using their accumulated assets to provide income for retirement.

After leaving the credit union in 2002 he was instrumental in starting Sound Capital Group, LLC with two associates, Barry Spomer and Kaylin King. During his tenure at Sound Capital Group, Gary was tasked with managing his own clients' assets as well as acting as the Branch Manager and a Designated Supervisor of Financial Network Investment Corporation, the Broker/Dealer with whom they were registered.

In 2013 Gary formed the Meagher Financial Group, LLC.

Ian began his professional career as a Technical Controller with the United States Marines, while stationed in Camp Pendleton, and deployed to Fallujah and Ramadi Iraq. Thereafter, he completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance. Ian has since honed his skills making the complex simple by aggregating large swaths of data into an easily understood format to help people make the best decisions possible.

Ian initially began his post college career at Deloitte Consulting, where he used Excel, and visualization software to build templates and reports that enabled multimillion dollar projects to be planned and executed. All while providing constant feedback to account for unforeseen changes.

In 2017 Ian began working at T. Hasegawa Flavors as Sales and Business Analyst. This allowed him to integrate data that had previously been opaque. This, in turn, created the interfaces used to facilitate actionable data.

In 2021 Ian began working in the financial services sector.

In his spare time, Ian enjoys snowboarding with his son, hiking and road tripping.

Deana joined Meagher Financial Group in July 2019 and quickly made her mark with exceptional organizational skills. Deana, as an administrative associate, is part administrative assistant and part office manager.

Since starting in the financial services industry Deana has also earned the designation of Financial Paraplanner Qualified Professional from the College of Financial Planning.

She very much enjoys working in the financial securities industry at Meagher Financial Group and is eager to gain further knowledge in this field.

Deana currently resides in rural King County with her family; however, she is originally from the Southeast part of the United States. In her free time, she enjoys watching college football, crocheting, snorkeling and spending time with family.
